This is the first time the album has been available on CD except for a very rare Japanese release 15 years that now changes hands for high prices on auction sites. The album has been re-mastered from the original master tapes and sounds incredibly fresh. Brian Jackson has written some new sleeve notes especially for this CD issue, which give an interesting insight into the recording of the album..


This is the third Gil Scott Heron and Brian Jackson album in the series following BRIDGES and SECRETS released earlier this year.
